This course provides the student with practical experience at both community and health-system pharmacy practice settings. The student is expected to complete eighty (80) hours of work experience at each practice site. Each site offers a unique learning experience pertaining to that pharmacy operation. Through observation and hands on experience, students will develop and explore their important roles in the delivery of patient-centered pharmaceutical care to the general public.
At the completion of this course students will be ready to pursue our final course ( PharmServ 103) and prepare for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Examination.
